Process

How we work.

Five steps, dates agreed in advance, and your approval before any animation starts. This timeline is for a 60 s Launch film, in business days. Teaser follows the same process in 10 business days.

  1. Day 0

    Call and quote

    Twenty minutes to understand your product, audience, and launch date. Quote within 24 hours. The delivery clock starts when we receive your complete brief and payment.

  2. Day 2

    Script

    Three written directions, each built around one concept. You choose one, and we refine it with you until you approve the script.

  3. Day 4

    Storyboard

    Every shot is planned before animation starts.

  4. Day 9

    First cut

    A complete film with picture, voice, and music. We work through your feedback with unlimited rounds of revisions on the edit, typography, voice, and music.

  5. By day 14

    Delivery

    Final files in your package's formats, hooks, subtitles, and usage rights for the web and social media.

Before you book.

How long does it take?

Teaser is delivered in 10 business days; Launch and Launch Kit in 14. The clock starts when we receive your complete brief and payment. You need to respond within 48 hours at each approval stage; any delay shifts the schedule by the same amount. Express delivery in 7 business days is available for an extra 40%.

How many revisions are included?

As many as needed on the edit, typography, voice, and music, through delivery. Each round of feedback includes one shot regeneration; additional regenerations cost €25 excl. VAT per shot. Since you approve the script and storyboard before animation starts, feedback on the first cut is usually brief and specific.

Who owns the film?

You receive the final files with commercial usage rights for the web and social media, with no time limit: websites, social media, email, trade shows, presentations, and online ads. Source files remain the property of Tercet Studio, which may show the film in its portfolio unless you object in writing. Details are in our terms of sale.

Can I use it in TV ads?

On quote. TV, cinema, and outdoor advertising use depends on the music license and requires a separate grant of rights. Tell us in your brief so we can choose the music and license accordingly.

Which formats do I get?

Teaser and Launch: one format of your choice (16:9, 1:1, or 9:16), a reframed 9:16 version, and subtitles. Launch Kit: all three formats, reframed and recomposed for each, with burned-in subtitles. Extra format: €150 excl. VAT.

How does payment work?

Full payment at order, by card via Stripe. Prices exclude VAT, and VAT does not apply (art. 293 B of the French CGI). You pay the price shown.

Do your films feature brands that aren't your clients?

Yes. We label each film: Kompa (30 s), Cleavr (60 s, "Message in a bottle"), and Zeliq (60 s, "Ten thousand names") are spec films made in-house to show how we tell a product's story. These brands did not commission the films, and we have no affiliation with them. The same applies to the Granola and Empacer concept films excerpted in the showreel. The logos are redrawn, and we use no assets supplied by these brands.
